Booking Conditions

1. Circumstances:

Canoe Safaris reserves the right to cancel or amend your itinerary if circumstances require such action.

2. Liability:

Canoe Safaris make all arrangements for all tours on the condition that it shall not be liable for any sickness or injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either directly or indirectly.

3. Payment:

The balance of payment must be paid not less than 30 days prior to trip departure.

4. Deposit:

A NZ$100.00 deposit per person (on guided trips) and NZ$50.00 per person (on hire trips) is required 60 days prior to trip departure.

5. Client Cancellation:

An administration fee of NZ$100.00 per person (on guided trips) and NZ$50.00 (on hire trips) will be retained on all cancellations. If cancellation occurs after 60 days prior to departure, the cancellation fee will be based on costs incurred. Once a tour has left its departure point, no portion of the package is refundable in the event of an individual or group being unable to proceed further on the tour, for whatever reason. If cancellation looks likely please contact Canoe Safaris immediately as a solution may be found.

6. Cancelled Tours:

Canoe Safaris reserves the right to cancel any tour in any circumstances. Unless the client fails to pay the final balance, Canoe Safaris, upon cancellation will return all monies paid or offer an alternative tour.

7. Prices:

All prices include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax of 12.5%.

8. Changes:

Canoe Safaris may make reasonable changes in the itinerary where deemed necessary. Changes will be advised to the client as soon as reasonably possible. When a major change is made the client shall have the choice of accepting the change, purchasing an alternative tour or canceling and receiving a full refund. The definition of a major change will depend on the individual tour and circumstance.
